MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and second largest engineering discipline. Mechanical Engg apply the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of machines & devices. Mechanical Engg. is a diverse subject that derives its breadth from the need to design and manufacture everything from small individual parts and devices (i.e. microscale sensors and ink jet printer nozzle) to large spacecraft and machine tool. The role of Mechanical Engineer is to take product from an idea to the market place. Mechanical Engg learn about materials, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Control Instrumentation, Design and Manufacturing to understand mechanical system. These areas are included in Mechanical Engineering and applied mechanics like Fluid Engineering, Heat Transfer, Bio Engineering, Tribology, Energy Conversion. These are the various job scopes in the Mechanical Engineering areas such as in Aerospace Industries, in Automotive Industries, in Marine Industries and in Material and Metal Industries.
